Eos

Eos

Eos first married to the Titan Astraeus, but then afterwards married Tithonus, the king of troy, because of his beauty. She didn't want them to be separated when Tithonus died, so she received an immortality potion from Zeus. However, unfortunately Zeus forgot to put eternal youth to it. As time passed, Tithonus grew very old and lost his beauty. Eos, disgusted, put him into a chamber. Eos took pity on Tithonus (because he grew old and weak), so she turned him into a grasshopper using her divine powers, so that he would stop babbling of old age.
